Case Study: Listed Thatch Property

Overview

Dating back to the 1650's this charming thatched cottage is located in an area with no connection to mains gas. The property owners were seeking to replace their oil fired boiler with a cleaner heating system with lower operating costs. As the property is Grade II listed, planning permission was required for the installation of an air source heat pump, which was quickly granted. A BA45i air source heat pump was installed with an output of 7-22kW. The heat pump also featured a custom RAL colour in a heritage green shade which compliments the property aesthetic.
